The story is complex, involving a secret between four ex-cons from India and a hidden treasure. The Lost World is a novel released in 1912 by Arthur Conan Doyle concerning an expedition to a plateau in South America where prehistoric animals (dinosaurs and other extinct creatures) still survive.
