Wings of the Pirate is an old fashioned adventure tale that follows the treasure hunting path of renowned female archeologist, Alexa Reid. On her journey in the South Pacific, she teams up with an ex-Navy flyer, Capt. Jimmy Ferral, who flies a surplus Grumman seaplane as a flight charter service. While being chased by Air Pirates, the treasure-seeking pair runs into all types of colorful island characters. The one-eyed Air Pirate Captain P. M.
