Many of us who live in Europe or North America and whose mother tongue is Arabic have a great challenge persuading our kids to read in Arabic. I tackle this challenge in various avenues: one approach through the interesting stories I have authored in Arabic decorated by diacritic. The other approach is presented in this new story where kids would know Arabic names through English letters. Enjoy this adventure which introduces the first letter in the Arabic alphabet, Alif, through a cute kid named Billy who will experience a lot in his long journey to meet his hero, Sinbad.
