Madison is six years old and her two front teeth, Ruth and Julie, are loose. Ruth is a very worried front tooth who does not want to come out because she is afraid of meeting the tooth fairy. Mike the Molar has told her many bad things about the tooth fairy. Ruth begs her friend Julie, who lives next to her on Madison's gum, not to come out. But Julie does come out and that leaves Ruth alone to deal with her fears. Thanks to a friendly dentist Ruth learns that things aren't so bad in the Dental Kingdom
