A Phase of Fixation' explores the mind of a teen boy who is rooted with misguided obsession and desire. Under the alias of Ragder Siliki, I wrote these poems over the space of a few years. At the time, I believed I was writing love poems, but in retrospect believe these to show myself as a boy who could not cope with infatuation. This is a common experience for people during their teen years; to revolve their entire attention around a yearning to be with someone.
