In my first book, "The Night the Sirens Blew," my goal was to write the most comprehensive, informative book ever written about the worst outbreak of tornadoes ever to strike the Twin Cities. I am humbled by the huge success and reception of that book. That endeavor brought me to one of the most interesting, fascinating group of people I had ever met in my life, the survivors of that swarm of tornadoes on May 6th, 1965.
