13-year-old Kylee Sidhu has one more reason to hate her mother. Less than a year ago Kylee had lost her father in a freak car accident and to this day she hasn't cried, but she has blamed her mother. Now, they have packed ten suitcases with their most precious possessions and on the brink of starting high school, Amelia has moved Kylee thousands of miles away from everything familiar. Naturally, Kylee has reasons to worry: Will she make friends? Will she eat lunch alone? Will she ever go to the mall?
