Annabella thought her life was hard enough. Her dad left when she was a baby, her mom works multiple jobs to support Annabella and her brother Dale, who is now off to college, and her friends are slowly drifting away. Now that an old family member has come back to haunt them, will Annabella, her mom, and Dale ever make it back to their normal lives?

This book is a small but detailed collection of poetry that the author wrote over the course of her years in middle school (grade 7-8, 2015-2017). Assigned to her at the end of her seventh grade year, she wrote poetry for school work, but to her, it was less work than it was a hobby. After the school year ended, she took it up as something to do whenever she had the time.
