Theses verses here inscribed are gathered from my youth until my midlife of day to day composition for the entirety of eighteen years of hard work. Yet where do they derive their source but from a separate time and place than exists upon earth. As I attribute creativity to a natural medium by which the composure is but the vehicle, inspired by a muse, the artist is only valuable as the vessel given the words to create. As reflections herein are innate to my becoming conscious, perhaps even a truth and beauty inherent within our universal beings is by nature as spiritual transcendency...

In the art of it there is a reflection of life as it is found across the breadth of nature. The verses within this work are inspired to teach of this universal transcendency we call life. They will be of a purpose by which the reader may learn of him/herself the greater being by which we are a part. Virtue is but the entire whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Alike a loaf of bread made from scratch, each ingredient is bitter and displeasing, yet when carefully added together, given time to bake, then those ingredients comprise a nutritious completion. These verses are metaphysical by nature of their separation from daily time and the noise and haste of life. They are written as if the first line arrived and a necessity to write flowed upon the page. I intended to simply compose verses and this flood of creativity lasted for eighteen years. Daily I tasked away creating these works and others. If they are of this life then the medium for expression is by nature.
