Yet where do they derive their source but from a separate time and place than exists upon earth. In the art of it there is a reflection of life as it is found across the breadth of nature. The verses within this work are inspired to teach of this universal transcendency we call life. They will be of a purpose by which the reader may learn of him/herself the greater being by which we are a part. Virtue is but the entire whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Alike a loaf of bread made from scratch, each ingredient is bitter and displeasing, yet when carefully added together, given time to bake, then those ingredients comprise a nutritious completion. These verses are metaphysical by nature of their separation from daily time and the noise and haste of life. They are written as if the first line arrived and a necessity to write flowed upon the page. I intended to simply compose verses and this flood of creativity lasted for eighteen years.
