Mourning the recent loss of her husband and soul-mate, Rebecca decides to return to the home they both loved as children. Heaven's Gate, the place her father called sacred Indian land. Maggie discovers that everyone has some kind of secret, some kind of history that has molded them into who they are. Can they all move on from the past and mold themselves into a new future.

Maggie's life is drastically changed with Mollie's accident, Doc Morehouse's revelation that her twins have different fathers, and Roy's sudden return to Hillcrest. If her secret is revealed, Roy with his millions would surely take Mollie from her. Her visions of Daniel return with a vengence, while Parker, upset about her dark secret tells her he needs to leave or he will reveal the truth to Roy. Maggie is left to make the decision to face life on her own, possibly lose her children and everything she has worked so hard for, or break down and accept the help that Roy wants to give her.
