Almost all of the poems in this small book were written in the years 1944 - 1952, when Cathleen was between the age of 16 and 23. Some of the poems are frivolous and others speak of a deep spirituality and love of Jesus. There is a wisdom to be found in these poems. A wisdom born of love of God family and country. Some of the poems are dedicated to three of her closest friends, Dorothy, Loretta and Margie, and her cousin Kathleen who all became nuns.
