This book is a collection of artwork, poems, thoughts and ideas from 2015, as I was thinking through my relationship as a painter with art and the world. It is full of my artwork, landscapes, sunsets and seascapes capturing San Diego in plein air. It also is full of figure drawing, both posing nude, but also the people in coffee shops and musicians playing Jazz. Much of it has been my reaction to so much violence, in Paris, in Chicago, in Nigeria and so many other places. I've been thinking about words and myths, how we are cursed to speak but not understand just like the Tower of Babel...
