In this book the author explores the structure and shape of language. In one type of poem, the lattice, words and phrases are arranged in a matrix that reveals the interaction of each word to all other words in the poem. The number and geometry of content in these poems recalls Pythagorean substrates. Other types of structural poems are presented in concrete or symbolic styles. Lyrical poems, interspersed throughout the book are written in free verse and engage Montana themes.
