Treachery on Okaloosa Island is the sequel to Death Doesn't Vacation on Okaloosa Island where it picks up at the trial of Launie Sanderson. She is accused of killing Ollie her bouncer at her strip joint which was actually a front for much of the drug trade coming into the Panhandle of Florida. The story is told by the Prof a retire teacher who lives at the La Mancha, a large condo complex at the end of public access on Okaloosa Island and who becomes the reporter for the local paper inside the courtroom.
