When I came out as the overall winner of the school's Spelling Bee Competition, I now had to represent the school against competitors from other schools in the county in the finals. However, the Spearman family had planned an Africa trip several months earlier which now conflicts with the date of the Spelling Bee Competition. Cancelling the Competition was not an option; postponing the trip will result in a loss of a lot of money for my Dad; and so, I was left behind to travel alone to Africa as an Unaccompanied Minor...

There's no point sugar-coating it; Miss Mayaki was fat. Fat as in meat hanging out of the wrong parts of her body. She needed to lose weight, but doctors were recommending she eat less and exercise more. Those were difficult. She needed another form of weight loss program that did not require for her to do anything.
