The purpose of the study was to examine primary productivity and physico-chemical status of Anasagar Lake, Ajmer (Rajasthan), India from September 2007 to August 2008. Anasagar lake is one of the most important lake because of its historical and ecological point of view. During the study, primary productivity and physico-chemical parameters were estimated. Besides this planktons were also identified.
