Decorative Arts of Oceania and exhibition of tribal arts from private collections on the Big Island of Hawaii. This all color catalog present objects that have never been shown to the public. Examples of textiles, sculpture, painting, personal adornments, ritual and ceremonial objects are presented with notes and an introduction by noted hawaiian research historian, author and lecturer, Lucia Tarallo. Darren Goodman is a glass blower and installation artist from Ohio who has exhibited his works and installations at the Cincinnati Art Museum, Toledo Art Museum, and the Carnegie Art Gallery among other galleries and arts facilities including Paris, France. This book traces his five year journey creating glass "tears"of joy, hope and courage some of which are permanently installed at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Care Center.
