Susanne Mills works as a Wellness and Recovery Specialist. She has finally come to terms with her serious mental illness diagnosis, after many years of self-hatred and denial. Her poetry spans forty years and includes many years of suicidal behaviors, a multitude of psychiatric hospitalizations, numerous behavioral health treatments and one too many therapists.
