Monkey Bars uses alpacas as characters to teach elementary school aged children the difference between someone being mean to them and someone acting like a bully towards them. The book also provides children with strategies they can use when confronted with someone being mean or acting like a bully towards them. The book can be used by classroom teachers in their classrooms and also used school-wide to create or sustain an anti-bullying initiative. Children will love the alpacas and at the same time learn to treat others as they would want to be treated.
