Sabrina Conklin is your normal, everyday, small town detective. Her boss, Ryan Cruz, just happens to be her ex-boyfriend, and her new partner looks like he just walked off a runway in New York. So, when Black River's first murder in over a decade occurs, Sabrina slowly realizes that her normal, everyday life, is slowly coming to an end, because there is someone dark and sinister in Black River, and he might just be closer than she thinks.

After the events in The Escape of Revenge, Luke and Sabrina's partnership & Friendship is falling apart. Upon returning to work, they are tasked with a rash of kidnappings. Except, that something seems off, and Luke & Sabrina will have to work together to figure out what's really going on, if they want to save the victims in time.
