Bakanae disease (Foot rot) of rice is becoming a serious threat to basmati production and had been reported to cause 20-50% loss in total production. Among the six oil cakes which were tested against Fusarium moniliforme, maximum inhibition (59.31 and 64.03%) of pathogen growth at both concentrations (10&20%) was observed in mahua cake respectively.
