The year is 2216. The Earth is ruined thanks to a notorious terrorist group known as The Emancipates. Less than four million people remain on Earth. In those survivors, a group of teenagers live on the outskirts of New Chicago. They are trying to maintain their meager existence, but soon stumble upon something they didn't think existed.
