Summer Hill Inn is a story about three travelers, William and his wife Martha, and her sister Mary who decide to travel to Raleigh North Carolina to attend a family funeral. After picking up Mary in South Carolina, Will decides to take a less traveled road instead of turning around and picking up I-40 in order to save time. Several miles later, Martha notices that they have left the main highway and are on a much smaller road and fears that they are lost.
