I have PPMS (Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis) and I am doing great. MS is classified by medical science as an incurable, progressively degenerative, neurological disease. Altogether a fairly gloomy prognosis, if one buys into it. For the first few years after my diagnosis I was headed downhill fast. Then through some good luck and a stubborn unwillingness to accept the conventional medical wisdom, I started finding ways to push back against this disease. This is the story of that long hard battle
