close to two decades ago, Botswana government embarked on a long journey to establish landfills in each major town. The software aspects of this technology seemed not in place. It, however went ahead and implemented, monitoring and evaluating along the way, and putting in structures to educate the public. In 2001/4 period, there was no public preparedness at al for this new technology.
