Her name is Sophia. She is gorgeous, intuitive, loving, gifted smart and a born leader. She and a small group of people were hand picked by an alien culture to be trained to reach a highly advanced state of mind called lightspace.

But there was a catch, an ultimatum. The law of the universe is that any species about to reach the capacity for long-range space travel must prove it has a dominant desire for peace or it will be destroyed to protect the more advanced, peaceful planets of the Milky Way.
