A heavy fog creeps up the coastline along California's Scenic Highway. In its clutches, a man staggers onto a lonely stretch of the highway only to be struck by a motor home driven by a shocking redhead and likewise beautiful blond. The women are unaware that the local sheriff's office has its hands full with a hit and run driver, an elusive murderer, an unidentified floater, and rumors that two suspects in a string of bank robberies are in the area.
