We have tried to show throughout this book that a dialogue was possible between Freud and Edelman and, in a more general way, between psychoanalysis and neurosciences. We have argued that Freudian psychoanalysis could be read in neuroscientific key, including parallel work between patient's associative network and modifications of his or her neural systems. Instinctual vector opens the way towards the necessity of the evolution, evolutionary and counter-evolutionary weaving in both neurological and psychic functioning of an individual in search of new or missed tunings.
