Interspecific hybridization is useful to improve cultivated species by introgressing specific traits. The present investigation on interspecific hybrids of Luffa comprised of three genotypes of L. acutangula (ridge gourd); three genotypes of L. cylindrica (sponge gourd) and their six interspecific crosses.
