Louie, a small, local lighthouse goes through many changes after being found too small, outdated and no longer useful for the town and ships at sea.

Tippy, smaller, older and much less powerful than the other tugboats in the harbor finds himself struggling to keep up with day to day life. Eventually, when a crisis arises in the harbor, Tippy proves to the other tugboats that being the smallest and oldest doesn't mean you are any less important.

Benny is a bell buoy who longs to leave his home, a beautiful harbor, but by accident his desire to leave comes true. He comes to realize just how important his home really is to him.
