The present work was undertaken to investigate the effects of aqueous extract from Asphodelus fistulosus whole plant in experimentally induced hyperlipidemia in rats.The antihyperlipidemic effect of AFPE was evaluated in male albino rats of Wistar strain at two graded doses levels viz. 100 and 200 mg/kg of body weight in high fat diet and Triton X-100-induced hyperlipidemia in rats.
