Suborned by Rhyme Volume 1, Contagion - is the author's journal of the first two and a half months of an unexpected literary journey, documenting the chaotic beginnings of an unforeseen rhyming infection. It contains multiple daily sonnets on living, dawn walking, garage building frustrations, and nature experiences which are leavened by longer pieces on Fall Blahs and Rainy Walks, the Viet Nam Cantos completion, Alaska Major Construction Times, and the start of a Historical (and Classic) Book Review.

The journal continues with the last three months of the first year of my literary journey. This continues the documentation of the muddled happenings and life-style fluctuations as the rhyming infection stabilizes. Suborned by Rhyme Vol 7, Hiatus covers a six month journal period as I head into the third year of my literary journey. As the county's presidential election process swings into full gear, I have recovered from the intensity of the initial year-and-a-half of rhyming. Watching the political shenanigans, I try to fit them into the historical perspective of the Nation's founding. The weather also continues to fascinate and provide subjects and motivation to rhyme.
