One of the main points of Tiki Hour is the powerful role post-traumatic stress disorder and abuse (in my case, witnessing domestic violence for almost two decades) played in my experience of religion. I argue that for a number of believers, religion and god are abusers; we're battered spouses trapped in an abusive relationship.
