Renal function impairment is an important complication of cancer itself and consequences of its treatment such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy. To minimize renal and non-renal systemic toxicity many anti-neoplatic drugs require dose adjustment based upon glomerular filtration rate (GFR).
