As Ruthie goes on college summer break with her Dad to a familiar vacation spot, it doesn't start off quite how she expected. When she witnesses what she thinks is a man committing suicide, it throws her into an unexpected adventure with the local town cowboy, and many tortured ghosts. She feels drawn to help them, and help restore the town she has grown up loving, possibly while falling in love in another way.
