Partial profits from the sale of this collection will benefit York's shelter for women escaping domestic violence and/or sexual assault. This collection contains poetry, spoken word, short stories and short memoir-style narratives. It serves to return the empowerment of voice to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. It also serves to let women and men who have not yet discovered their voice know that they are not alone. We seek to educate, enlighten AND empower through the written word.

Dalin Appel is creative, intelligent and fearless, just like the times.
