Local legend has it there are things hidden deep within the Appalachian Mountains that should never be disturbed. When excavation at a coal mine unearths more than a new seam of coal, the residents of a nearby town find out just how true the legend is when they come face to face with the Thing in the mine.

"Return To Trinity" tells the story of Michael Carmody and Ben Hutchins, two young Confederate soldiers returning home to Texas at the end of the Civil War. In their travels, the two men meet a charasmatic cattleman named Bryce Pomeroy who talks the young men into helping with a cattle drive. Along the way, they encounter bad weather, bandits, murderers and renegade Indians. To make matters worse, a romantic rilvary threatens to tear the long time friends apart. Their troubles multiply when they are subjected to oppressive Yankee occupation of their home town of Forth Worth. Haunted further...
