Lazarus help me break the paradigm that my generation had been raised with. That paradigm stated that when a car has 100,000 on it, it was worn out. You couldn't feel safe to drive across town with it, and certainly not across the country. Thus, every mile that I put on Lazarus was a source of amazement as the paradigm became sicker and sicker until it totally died. "They don't make cars like they use to," I hear old-timers say. And, they are right. They don't make cars like they use to, for which I am very glad. They make them better now.
