A brief study was carried out to find out student approaches toward career selection in government school in kpk. For this purpose government high school Dodher district Swabi was examined. All classes from 6th to 10th were interviewed. They were found interested in some common known profession for their future life in this modern era. A sum of 18 various professions were selected by student for their future. The trend in career selection is army 36%> teaching 33.1%> other 18.1%> science oriented 12.5%.
