...nameless and aimless...The Fall of Thunder Valley is a "sort of" western that doesn't require you to be a dyed-in-the-wool western fan to enjoy it. It follows the basic format with a widow and a nine-year-old son, an evil ranch owner who will do anything to get her land, her deceased husband's fast-draw friend who may or may not ride to the rescue, and a nameless, aimless, disreputable alcoholic drifter who doesn't carry a gun but still finds ways to help out. It comes with the requisite gunfight at the end but with lots more humor and romance.
