The present studies were carried out on four different genotypes of Spine Gourd (Momordica dioica Roxb.) with a view to standardized a reliable procedure for shoot and root initiation, on plants from established cultures. The cultures were initiated by using node explants of genotypes R1P17, R2P5, R9P7 and R11P5 and different plant tissue culture mediums composed of MS-medium supplement with combination BAP, IBA and NAA.
