The Slavers is a well-researched, fact-based historical novel that tells a story of slavery with all the sex and violence of 1702-1704. It begins in London's Newgate Prison and progresses through Madeira to the huge slave market at Cape Coast Castle in Africa thence to Barbados and finally, Jamaica.
