This work introduce a complete study of the the chemical constituents of the Egyptian Red sea soft coral, Heteroxenia ghardaqensis. The chemical study of this coral was occurred depending upon the chromatographic techniques. The structure of the isolated compounds were elucidated by complete spectroscopic analysis. The isolated compounds were studied for their anticancer and antimicrobial activities. Also protective activity of chloroform extract against cadmium-induced adrenal toxicity was evaluated in rats.

The nature is the mother of the humans and the natural products from plants and marine soft corals exhibited several biological activities. The authors insert the future view of the antiulcer medicinal drugs from nature including the medicinal plants and marine organisms. The natural products from plant and marine organisms sources were confirmed to exhibit a significant anti-ulcerogenic activities with approximately no side effects. These activities give the humans the hope to prevent the ulcer from the nature without side effects
