Prof. Satya Pal Ruhela (79) is a pioneering Indian sociologist of education, senior teacher educator and spiritualist . He has contributed many books on sociology, education, human values and problems of Indian education. He has guided 22 Ph.D. candidates in Education at the Jamia Miilia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. He is the recipient of Bhrigu Summan bestowed upon him by Harprashad Institute of Behavioural Studies, Agra in 2011 for his valuable life time contributions in the field of behavioural Sciences, literature, humanity and social development.
