In the little town of Townsville, a quaint, picturesque place situated in New England, a young woman named Shannon or "Rose" Flanagan goes about her daily life -- university student by day, Wiccan by night. But at the beginning of fall semester, a new church arrives in town, and Rose end up encountering one of its members, a young man named James O'Rourke who has recently emigrated to the States from Ireland.
