It all starts Halloween eve when Mark pours the remaining candy bars from his bowl into that last trick-or-treater's nearly empty bag. In a strange yet strangely familiar voice comes: "Thanks. Here's a treat for your trouble mister." And this faceless Spiderman places a small pen in his empty bowl, while Headless Horseman skitteres across the back of Mark's mind.
