Captain John Baker and his second in command wife Pilar are in a Craten Starship headed toward a warring planet. Starships from six friendly planets are cruising in space next to them in formation. Craten and the other friendly planets in the alliance are fed up with attacks on their Starships, installations, outposts and even some of the planets unable to defend themselves.
