I grew up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church which, today, is staunchly Trintarian. I was taught to believe that God had guided the founders of that church and that the church was continuing to preach the same message. The moment of crisis came to me when I learned that the Seventh-day Adventist Church had been very Anti-Trinitarian during the lifetime of the church pioneers. This is a short look at the 70 year prophecy Jeremiah made. It looks at the various texts that mention this prophecy, the fall of Jerusalem, and the conquest of Babylon by the Medes and Persians and how the key events described line up perfectly with the mainstream history books. One of the most fascinating subjects for me is prophecy and I love seeing how it lines up with history.
