An attempt to study the mindset of the society, how they view the role of girls and boys in household work, for education, classroom culture and processes was done. Major findings were increase in enrolment and survival rate, decrease in dropout rate after various interventions with gender perspective. Repetition rate increased as technically the dropouts were converted to repeaters. Teachers encouraged girls in lower class, but ignored in higher class.
