This treatise is an attempt to explore the question of who/what creates a text. Two of the main agents related to text are author and reader. Most critics have given their attention to these two regarding the creation, or creation of meaning of a text. It is an 'accepted' understanding now that author and reader play the most important roles in the creation of a text.
